Application checklist
- Apply for admission to an eligible ANU undergraduate or postgraduate programme (no separate scholarship application exists)
- Confirm the programme is eligible (excludes Doctor of Medicine and Surgery (MChD) and Master of Military and Defence Studies)
- Confirm overseas-student status under the Education Services for Overseas Students Act 2000 and no disqualifying 995 visa (unless an eligible postgraduate programme)
- Confirm no external sponsorship covers any part of tuition fees
- Accept the academic offer and the scholarship offer as two separate processes
Application tips
- There is no scholarship form — your admission application is the assessment, and you are always assessed first for the highest-value award you qualify for.
- Check your category: Undergraduate, Postgraduate, India, Indonesia and Vietnam are 25%; South East Asia and Europe, Central & South Americas are 25% or 50%.
- Do not defer: international students are not permitted to defer either the academic or the scholarship offer.
- If you hold an external sponsorship covering tuition, you are ineligible even with a strong academic record.
