About this scholarship
TaiwanICDF International Higher Education Scholarship Program for bachelor's, master's and PhD study at partner universities in Taiwan, covering round-trip economy airfare, dormitory housing, tuition, credit fees, insurance and textbook costs plus a monthly allowance. The 2027 window is confirmed on the official eligibility page: applications open 1 December 2026 and close 15 March 2027. This is the retry of the 0009 Tier C drop W6-12-005, now with official pages opened.
Minimum requirements
Citizen of a TaiwanICDF-eligible partner country; not a Taiwan national nor an overseas compatriot; satisfy the partner university's admission requirements; hold no other ROC government scholarship in the same academic year; one programme only, with a separate university application required. The 2026 guidebook required the highest diploma by 31 July 2026 for the 2026 cycle; the 2027 diploma deadline will be set in the 2027 guidebook publishing with the 1 December 2026 opening.
Application checklist
- Confirm your country is a TaiwanICDF-eligible partner country
- Choose one programme only (one programme per applicant)
- Apply separately to the partner university for admission
- Complete the TaiwanICDF scholarship application inside the 1 December 2026–15 March 2027 window
- Confirm you hold no other ROC government scholarship in the same academic year
- Check the 2027 guidebook when it publishes with the 1 December 2026 opening for the current diploma deadline
Application tips
- Apply to the university and the scholarship as two separate processes — the scholarship alone does not admit you.
- Do not apply to more than one programme; the guidebook limits each applicant to one.
- Check the partner-university admission requirements early, since they are separate from the scholarship eligibility.
- If you hold or expect another ROC government scholarship for the same year, you are ineligible — resolve that conflict before applying.
Always verify deadline, amount and eligibility on the official page before applying. Values marked ESTIMATE are based on a previous cycle and are not confirmed for the current round.
