About this scholarship
Wageningen University Excellence Programme scholarships for prospective international MSc students starting in September 2027, awarded by invitation from complete MSc applications, with a tuition-fee waiver for the full 24-month programme. This is the retry of the 0009 Tier C drop W6-11-007: the official WUR scholarships page now opens and confirms the 2027–2028 invitation round.
Minimum requirements
Prospective international MSc students only (not current WUR students); MSc starting in September only; scholarships based on invitation for the 2027–2028 academic year (ABF, ASP, Excellence). Secondary sources quoting WUR's scholarship page state: complete MSc application before 1 December 2026 for scholarship consideration; tuition-fee waiver for the full 24-month programme; non-EU and non-EFTA citizens; unconditional admission to an eligible on-campus MSc; GPA at least 80%; First Class Honours bachelor's or equivalent; bachelor's completed and English evidence before 1 December 2026; selection by the WUR Scholarship Selection Committee, with final-stage communication around March–April 2027 and offers around 7 April 2027. Distinct from the WUR Africa Scholarship Programme (SCH-DB-165) and the Anne van den Ban Fund (SCH-DB-402/476).
Application checklist
- Apply for an eligible on-campus WUR MSc starting in September 2027
- Complete the full MSc application before 1 December 2026 for scholarship consideration
- Secure unconditional admission to the eligible MSc
- Complete the bachelor's degree and provide English evidence before 1 December 2026
- Watch for selection-committee communication around March–April 2027 (secondary: offers around 7 April 2027)
Application tips
- Submit the complete MSc application well before 1 December 2026 — the scholarship is invitation-based and late or incomplete applications are not considered.
- Check that your bachelor's grade converts to at least 80% or First Class Honours equivalent before counting on eligibility.
- Remember this is for prospective students only: current WUR students cannot apply for this round.
- Do not confuse Excellence with the WUR Africa Scholarship Programme (SCH-DB-165) or the Anne van den Ban Fund (SCH-DB-402/476), which are separate WUR awards.
Always verify deadline, amount and eligibility on the official page before applying. Values marked ESTIMATE are based on a previous cycle and are not confirmed for the current round.
