Minimum requirements
Hold a non-Dutch secondary education qualification and a non-Dutch Bachelor's degree; the scholarship must be for a first Master's degree in the Netherlands; have been accepted to one of the English-taught Master's programmes of the Graduate School of Law and the Graduate School of Economics with a start date of 1 September 2027. Selection on academic quality and fit, societal engagement, initiative, and potential contribution to a diverse and international learning environment.
Application checklist
- Apply first to an eligible English-taught Master's of the Graduate School of Law or the Graduate School of Economics in Osiris
- Confirm you hold non-Dutch secondary and Bachelor's qualifications and that this is your first Master's in the Netherlands
- Confirm acceptance to a programme starting 1 September 2027
- Submit the LEGITS application before 1 February, 23:59 CET
- Avoid the 26 January - 1 February trap: submissions in that window with incomplete or incorrect information cannot be updated
Application tips
- The Master's application must come first: a LEGITS application without it is not processed.
- Submit well before 26 January, because late-window errors cannot be corrected.
- Selection weighs societal engagement and initiative alongside grades, so evidence those, not only academic quality.
