Application checklist
- Confirm a Bachelor degree (180 ECTS)
- Confirm English proof: TOEFL iBT minimum 92, IELTS Academic minimum 6.5 overall with no score below 5.5, PTE Academic minimum 76, Cambridge C1 Advanced/C2 Proficiency, or Duolingo minimum 135
- Prepare the application for the 2027/2029 edition via the official applications page
- Apply in the scholarship round before it ends on 7 January 2027
- Note that HumanResponse is the successor to the old EMMPHID programme when checking older guidance
Application tips
- The IELTS floor includes a per-score floor (no score below 5.5) — a 6.5 overall with a weak subscore still fails.
- Scholarship holders pay no fees, while self-funded students pay €16,000 over two years: the scholarship round is worth entering even if you could self-fund.
- This is a distinct programme from any EMMPHID record — do not let an old EMMPHID bookmark mislead you about deadlines.
- The scholarship round ends 7 January 2027, so the winter holidays fall inside the final window: finish early.
