Application checklist

  • Confirm full-time enrolment in a PhD/doctoral programme with research applied to aerospace engineering or space sciences
  • Confirm at least one year of the doctoral programme completed, or hold a master's in an aerospace-applied field
  • Confirm you will not graduate before April 2028
  • Confirm you are not in a postdoctoral programme and have not previously held this fellowship
  • Submit the application via the official Zonta page before 15 November 2026

Application tips

  • The applied test matters: frame your research explicitly around aerospace engineering or space-science applications, not general engineering.
  • The April 2028 graduation floor is a hard rule — if you graduate earlier, you are ineligible even with a strong record.
  • With only two weeks from 1 November to the deadline, prioritise the official application form over supplementary polish.
  • Previous fellows cannot renew, so if you held this fellowship before, do not reapply — look for a different award instead.
