Application checklist
- Confirm residence in Malawi, Zimbabwe or Zambia at the time of application
- Secure an offer for a one-year Master's in one of the eight Faculty of Engineering departments at Strathclyde for 2027/28
- Prepare evidence of exceptional academic calibre
- Wait for the application window to open on 1 December 2026 — the programme is not yet open on 2026-11-01
- Submit before 12 February 2027
Application tips
- Only one award is made, so the offer itself is not enough — make the case for exceptional calibre explicit with grades, rankings and achievements.
- Residence at application is the test, not citizenship alone: confirm your residence status matches the rule before applying.
- Check your chosen Master's sits in one of the eight Faculty of Engineering departments, not elsewhere at Strathclyde.
- Line up the course offer early, since the scholarship window (December to February) is short and follows admission.
Always verify deadline, amount and eligibility on the official page before applying. Values marked ESTIMATE are based on a previous cycle and are not confirmed for the current round.
