Minimum requirements
International applicants for a higher degree by research at the University of Sydney. RTP Stipend and USYDIS are parallel stipend routes to the same package and are assessed together with the admission application.

Application tips
- Use the 18 December 2026 round: the Research Periods 1–2, 2027 round closed 11 September 2026, and the next round after RP 3–4 is RP 1–2 2028 (10 September 2027).
- Apply for admission, not for the scholarship alone: stipend and fee-offset applications are assessed together with the admission application.
- Note the package structure: stipend (RTP Stipend or USYDIS) plus fee offset plus OSHC, assessed as one package.
