About this scholarship
University of Calgary International Entrance Scholarship for Fall 2027: CAD 20,000 per year, renewable up to 4 years (up to CAD 80,000), awarded to 2 international students entering an undergraduate degree via the High School Prestige Awards route.
Minimum requirements
International students entering an undergraduate degree at the University of Calgary. 2 awards. Renewal requires GPA 2.60+ over at least 24 units and continued international differential fee.
Application checklist
- Submit the High School Prestige Awards application before 1 December 2026
- Apply for undergraduate admission (general final deadline 1 March 2027 is NOT the scholarship deadline)
- check official page for the nomination requirements
Application tips
- Treat 1 December 2026 as the scholarship deadline, not 1 March 2027: the March date is the general undergraduate admission deadline.
- Plan for renewal: GPA 2.60+ over at least 24 units and continued international differential fee are required.
- Ignore the older CAD 15,000 per year (CAD 60,000 total) listing: several 2027 sources and the Prestige Awards route support CAD 20,000 per year, and the CAD 15,000 figure is recorded as superseded.
Always verify deadline, amount and eligibility on the official page before applying. Values marked ESTIMATE are based on a previous cycle and are not confirmed for the current round.
