Application checklist
- Hold an offer for an eligible campus-based undergraduate degree entering year 1 in September 2027
- Have international fee status and expected grades equivalent to AAB
- Submit the scholarship application before 4 March 2027, 11:59 GMT
- Self-funded status required; cannot be combined with another Exeter scholarship
Application tips
- Apply in Round 1 before 4 March 2027: Round 1 has 150 awards of GBP 15,000, and the recurring structure makes this one of the larger UK undergraduate awards.
- Ignore older 'Global Excellence GBP 5,000/GBP 10,000, deadline 18 June 2026' listings: those describe the 2026 scheme, not the 2027/28 Excellence scheme.
- Confirm the course is campus-based and eligible, and that the student is self-funded, since the award cannot be combined with another Exeter scholarship.
Always verify deadline, amount and eligibility on the official page before applying. Values marked ESTIMATE are based on a previous cycle and are not confirmed for the current round.
