Merit-based tuition-fee waiver for non-EU/EEA students admitted to a full-time English-taught master's at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam starting September 2027. It can be combined with the NL Scholarship for the first year.
Minimum requirements
Non-EU/EEA students admitted to a full-time English-taught master's at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam starting September 2027. February starters are excluded. GPA equivalent to Dutch 8 required. Merit-based tuition-fee waiver.

- Apply for a full-time English-taught master's starting September 2027 (advised master's application deadline 1 December 2026)
- Submit the VUFP application before 1 February 2027, 23:59 CET
- Evidence of GPA equivalent to Dutch 8

Application tips
- Treat 1 December 2026 as the advised master's deadline even though the VUFP deadline is 1 February 2027, since admission must be in place for the scholarship decision.
- Exclude February starters: they are not eligible for VUFP.
- If eligible, add the NL Scholarship application (EUR 5,000, first year only) since VUFP can be combined with it.
