About this scholarship
Full scholarships for excellent non-EU/EEA students admitted to a Maastricht University master's programme, covering tuition, a living allowance, insurance and visa costs. The university states that only 2% of applicants are awarded.
Minimum requirements
Non-EU/EEA nationality, excluding Switzerland and Suriname. Age at most 35 on 1 September 2027. GPA at least 7.5/10. Admission to a Maastricht University master's programme. A mandatory allocated room applies until 16 July 2028.
Application checklist
- Submit a complete master's admission file before 10 December 2026
- Submit the scholarship application before 1 February 2027, 23:59 CET
- Evidence of non-EU/EEA nationality (excluding Switzerland and Suriname), age at most 35 on 1 September 2027, and GPA at least 7.5/10
- check official page for the full scholarship application documents
Application tips
- Treat 10 December 2026 as the real gate: an incomplete admission file by that date blocks scholarship consideration even though the scholarship deadline is 1 February 2027.
- Budget for the mandatory allocated room until 16 July 2028, which the official page states as a condition.
- Note the selectivity: the official page states only 2% of applicants are awarded, so treat this as a reach award and apply to other Dutch scholarships in parallel.
Always verify deadline, amount and eligibility on the official page before applying. Values marked ESTIMATE are based on a previous cycle and are not confirmed for the current round.
