About this scholarship
Two-year Erasmus Mundus joint master's in agricultural, food and environmental policy analysis, delivered by the University of Bonn (Germany), Universita Cattolica del Sacro Cuore (Italy), Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (Sweden) and UCLouvain (Belgium). The consortium offers a small number of scholarships for the 2027 intake even though the EACEA funding period has ended.
Minimum requirements
Bachelor's degree in economics or a related field (180 credits). Per-partner economics ECTS minima differ: SLU 90, Bonn 42, UCSC 32 across four areas. English: TOEFL 90 IBT or IELTS 6.5 overall with no section below 5.5.
Application checklist
- Complete the AFEPA online application for the 2027 cohort before 12 February 2027
- Bachelor's degree in economics or a related field (180 credits) with the required economics ECTS for the chosen partner
- English test evidence: TOEFL 90 IBT or IELTS 6.5 overall with no section below 5.5
- Indicate interest in a consortium scholarship in the application (check official page for the current scholarship-interest procedure)
Application tips
- Apply early in the 15 October 2026 to 12 February 2027 window so partner-specific ECTS questions can be resolved before the deadline.
- Match your economics credits to the partner minima (SLU 90, Bonn 42, UCSC 32) before choosing a mobility track.
- Do not rely on the scholarship-interest dates printed on the page (13 February 2026 for non-European applicants, 30 June 2026 for European applicants) — they read as stale against the 2027 cohort window; confirm the current scholarship-interest procedure with the consortium.
- Prepare a separate plan for the self-funded admission route, since only 4 consortium scholarships are offered for 2027.
Always verify deadline, amount and eligibility on the official page before applying. Values marked ESTIMATE are based on a previous cycle and are not confirmed for the current round.
