Application tips
- Departmental nomination comes first — each department may nominate at most 2 candidates, for different centres.
- The portal opens 1 November 2026 and closes 30 November 2026 at 5pm — a short window.
- Recipients must secure a study visa from the host country immediately on acceptance.
- Describe financial support as a 'scholarship' and the activity as 'study' in consulate dealings, per the Foundation's own advice.
Always verify deadline, amount and eligibility on the official page before applying. Values marked ESTIMATE are based on a previous cycle and are not confirmed for the current round.
