Application checklist
- Secure a conditional or unconditional University of Glasgow offer first
- Personal statement (40% of selection)
- Academic transcripts and degree evidence
- Confirm no prior Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters scholarship
- Check official page for remaining documents and reference requirements
Application tips
- Apply to Glasgow early: no Glasgow offer means no scholarship consideration, so treat the university application as the real first deadline
- Weight your personal statement heavily — it carries 40% of the selection score, more than academic merit alone
- Use the statement to show a clear security/intelligence focus rather than a generic international-relations profile
- Check the funding page for which payment pattern applies to you (€1,400/month versus advances plus €1,275/month) before budgeting
