About this scholarship
ECT+ is a two-year Erasmus Mundus joint Master in environmental contamination and toxicology, training students in ecotoxicology, toxicology and environmental chemistry across a European consortium.
Minimum requirements
2-year multidisciplinary joint Master taught entirely in English in ecotoxicology, toxicology and environmental chemistry (ECT+ One Health programme); Bachelor's degree equivalent to 180 ECTS; proof of English proficiency; Europass CV; motivation letter and two reference forms; selection is highly competitive and weighs academic merits, motivation and study plan, references and chances of success
Application checklist
- Step 1 Eligibility: passport or national identity card, proof of English proficiency, official BSc transcript (at least 4 semesters at application), Europass CV, online Eligibility Form — submitted before the eligibility deadline
- Step 2A Erasmus Mundus Scholarship Application: BSc diploma (180 ECTS), secondary school degree, motivation letter (maximum 6,000 characters), two reference forms submitted online by referees, proposed study plan form, proof of residence, signed Erasmus+ Scholarship Mandatory Declaration form, passport-type photograph
- Step 2B Self-Funded Student Application (alternative pathway): documents 1-10 and 13-15 before the self-funded deadline
- Step 3 Enrolment: final documents including original BSc diploma presented at Induction Week in September
Application tips
- Complete Step 1 eligibility first — only applicants deemed eligible may continue to the scholarship or self-funded pathways, and non-eligible applicants cannot reapply until the next year's call
- Note the three deadlines: eligibility 31 January, Erasmus Mundus scholarship applications 15 March, self-funded applications 15 May
- Secure the two reference forms early — it is the applicant's responsibility to obtain them within the deadline, and an unresponsive referee must be replaced by the applicant
- Prepare a well-thought-out study plan and motivation letter: selection weighs study and academic merits, motivation and the coherence of the proposed study plan, reference forms and chances of success
Always verify deadline, amount and eligibility on the official page before applying. Values marked ESTIMATE are based on a previous cycle and are not confirmed for the current round.
