About this scholarship
Up to three full MBA scholarships at Oxford Saïd for African nationals ordinarily resident in Africa who have not already taken a master's degree, in partnership with AfOx and the Mastercard Foundation Scholars Programme.
Minimum requirements
African national ordinarily resident in an African country; must not already have taken a master's degree; demonstrable commitment to Africa's development; submit the MBA application by the deadline (no separate scholarship application)
Application checklist
- MBA application submitted by 6 January 2027
- No separate scholarship application (awards made from the MBA application)
- Check official page for any additional AfOx-specific evidence of commitment to Africa's development
Application tips
- There is no separate form: your MBA application is your scholarship application, so the 6 January deadline is absolute.
- You must not already hold a master's degree — this is a stated exclusion, not a preference.
- Show commitment to Africa's development concretely (work, projects, plans), not as a general statement.
- African nationality alone is not enough: you must ordinarily reside in an African country.
Always verify deadline, amount and eligibility on the official page before applying. Values marked ESTIMATE are based on a previous cycle and are not confirmed for the current round.
