Application tips
- The deadline is 8 November 2026 — treat this entry as urgent.
- Your mentor must be an AANS member: confirm membership before you build the application around a lab.
- You must have completed at least one year of medical school by the fellowship start, so first-semester students are not eligible.
- The fellowship period is the May-August summer after the award — plan your summer around the lab placement.
Always verify deadline, amount and eligibility on the official page before applying. Values marked ESTIMATE are based on a previous cycle and are not confirmed for the current round.
