Minimum requirements
Prospective tuition-fee student applying to an Aalto master's programme; bachelor's degree equivalent to 180 ECTS or completing by 31 July 2027 (secondary-reported admissions detail). Decisions are made on academic grounds (official terms page). Scholarship is granted for one degree only and for no more than the target period (2 academic years for a master's), continued into the second year subject to progress under the approved personal study plan.

- Accept the scholarship terms by the deadline stated in the offer (see official terms page) and accept the study place by 21 April 2027
Application tips
- There is no second form to forget — but that means missing the scholarship tick-box in Studyinfo costs you the award, so check it before submitting.
- Results come 30 March 2027, so do not decline other offers before then if Aalto is your first choice.
- The waiver covers tuition only, so budget living costs in Helsinki separately.
- Continuing the waiver into year two requires progress according to your approved personal study plan.
