About this scholarship
An additional scholarship on top of the University of Twente Scholarship, funded by the Kipaji Scholarship Fund for talented students from countries with upcoming economies. It cannot be applied for standalone — it is only awarded to UTS recipients.
Minimum requirements
Must be a UTS scholarship recipient; apply for UTS and indicate interest in Kipaji in the motivation. The Kipaji Scholarship Fund is founded especially for talented students from countries with upcoming economies who have the potential but not the means to study at the University of Twente.
Application checklist
- Apply for UTS first (see W1-007) — Kipaji has no standalone application
- Indicate interest in Kipaji in the UTS motivation
- Check official page for any additional Kipaji-specific items
Application tips
- Write the Kipaji interest into your UTS motivation explicitly — the official page says to indicate interest there.
- Explain the means gap, not just merit: Kipaji targets students with potential but without the means to study at UT.
- Do not count the secondary-reported EUR 12,000 figure as confirmed until UT publishes it.
- If you are not a UTS recipient, Kipaji is closed to you — focus on winning UTS first.
Always verify deadline, amount and eligibility on the official page before applying. Values marked ESTIMATE are based on a previous cycle and are not confirmed for the current round.
