Application checklist

  • Apply for a KTH master's programme via universityadmissions.se with KTH as first priority
  • Pay the application fee
  • Submit all documents by 1 February
  • Submit the KTH India Scholarship application form when it opens on 1 December 2026 (no additional documents required for the scholarship form itself)
  • Check official page for programme exclusions (joint master's and obligatory-exchange programmes)

Application tips

  • Indian citizens may apply for both the KTH India Scholarship and the general KTH Scholarship — consider both, since only one India Scholarship is awarded.
  • If you studied in the Mumbai Metropolitan Area or Pune, make that background clear, as those applicants are prioritised by the foundation's statutes.
  • No extra documents are needed for the scholarship form, so the quality of your universityadmissions.se application carries the whole assessment.
  • Keep first-year grades strong: the second year of funding depends on satisfactory first-year results.
